Foote: I Want To Play in This League

Jeff Foote credits the Nets for getting him to where he is today: near his goal of playing in the NBA. After playing in Israel, Spain and Poland, and trying out for the Trail Blazers, Milton Lee offered him a job with the Armor. Armor Win Before Record Crowd

The Armor played their last home game of the regular season Friday, winning 89-82 before the largest home crowd in Springfield history, 6,061. The victory gave the Armor sole possession of first place in the D-League East and virtually assured them their first playoff appearance.

Foote Back, Armor Lose Again

Jeff Foote, the Armor's seven-foot center who spent 10 days with the Hornets, was back with the Nets' D-League affiliate Monday night in North Dakota, but it didn't help as the Armor lost to the Dakota Wizards in a crucial game with playoff implications. Foote, who many in the Nets and Armor organizations see as the team's best NBA prospect, had 18 and 13.
