Joseph contract has partial guarantees

ShamSports, the hoops site with insight into NBA salaries, reports Kris Joseph's contract with the Nets has a couple of previously unreported wrinkles, specifically partial guarantees, $100,000 if not cut by Aug 1; $200,000 if not cut by Oct. 29.

Joseph signed for rest of year

Kris Joseph has been signed for the rest of the season, presumably at the veterans minimum. The 6'7" Canadian swingman is now eligible for the playoffs. The Nets also control his NBA non-Bird rights which would permit them to keep him next year.
