Bojan Bogdanovic had only eight points on 3-of-7 shooting in 25 minutes in a Euroleague loss Friday. Fener rested the Nets 2011 draft pick. They'll need him to play meaningful games in the Turkish League. Ilkan Karaman scored 10 points.

While Bojan Bogdanovic is having a great season in the Turkish and Euroleagues, the Nets' other Euro-Stash on the Fener roster, Ilkan Karaman is not playing well. He went scoreless Sunday in a win and hasn't had a great season thus far.

Back in October, Bojan Bogdanovic was the sixth man for Fenerbahce, coming off the bench to supply energy and some scoring. He scored 11, for example, in an exhibition game vs. the Celtics in Istanbul. Now, he's the team's primary focus.

How valuable would Bojan Bogdanovic be if the Nets decided to trade the 23-year-old? We asked a league source a month ago. He responded that the Nets believed the 6'8" swingman is a "lottery equivalent." Since then, Bogdanovic has taken off.

The Nets two Euro-Stash, second round picks in 2011 and 2012, play for the same Turkish team, who are the Lakers of Europe: highly paid talent that's underachieving (and under an Italian League coach!). So its problems are of interest to Billy King.

The Euroleague Round of 16 began this weekend and Bojan Bogdanovic's Fenerbahce squad thought it might compete with powerhouse F.C. Barcelona. It didn't. Barcelona won by 22, but Bogdanovic continued his scoring with 19 points, going 6-for-12.

The 6'8" Croatian swingman led Fener to a 76-67 win, scoring 18 points on 7-for-14 (missing all four of his three's). Ilkan Karaman, the 6'9.5" back-up center drafted by the Nets last June, finished with five points and five rebounds in 13 minutes..

Ilkan Karaman proved his athleticism Thursday in a do-or-die Euroleague match-up, slamming home two dramatic dunks that helped Fenerbahce, home of the two Euro-Nets, beat Cantu of Italy. If they had lost, their Euroleague season would have ended.

Bojan Bogdanovic, now a starter for Fenerbahce, scored 11 points in 20 minutes as Fener beat a tough Banvit squad in the Turkish League. The 6'8" Croatian swingman shot 4-for-8, including 2-for5 from deep, maintaining his 50/40/80 shooting pace.
