Just a day after reports surfaced that Shaquille O'Neal was on the Orlando Magic's list of general manager candidates, Shaq has released a statement saying he has no interest in the job. So much for that.

Shaquille O'Neal is returning to television, this time in an area of his expertise. O'Neal has officially joined TNT as an NBA analyst and will sit alongside Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson on the network's basketball broadcasts.

Shaquille O'Neal will join the Turner NBA team in some kind of broadcast role. Turner already houses plenty of ex-NBA stars, including Charles Barkley and Chris Webber.
