Former Knicks and Nuggets forward Renaldo Balkman has been banned for life from the Philippine Basketball Association for grabbing the neck of a teammate during a heated altercation in a game last week.

Former New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets forward Renaldo Balkman grabbed a teammate's neck during a heated altercation in a Phillipine Basketball Association game on Thursday. Balkman currently plays for the Petron Blaze Boosters in the PBA.
2012 Olympic Basketball Qualifying: Tournament Stage Preview
The tournament stage of the Olympic Basketball Qualifying Tournament starts today, with 8 teams vying for 3 spots in a single-elimination bracket. In other words, everybody who loses on the first day is toast, and there's no final, because the final two teams automatically advance.
