Monday was a pretty big day for releasing things. The newest Madden game came out, the D-League released an incomplete schedule and Korean All-Star Rod Benson released his newest music video.

-It seems like these days that all we can think about is the Jazz's slow starts to games. If it is such a big deal with fans and with the media, then it must be at least in the back of the minds...

The above tweets are from Reno Bighorns big man Rod Benson, also known as "Boom Tho", following a 135-118 loss to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers that ended his season. Benson averaged an impressive astounding 24 points, 16.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks, but still wasn't able to get the opportunity of an NBA call-up that so many of his D-League counterparts received.

I'm going to be honest with my critiquing of Rod Benson's newest music video: I love it, but I thought Internet Dominance probably could have used a video all for itself. Still, the production is top-notch, so we'll give it four stars out of five.

Typically I report on puff pieces, but lately I've been inspired by the work of D-League Digest's Steve Weinman to do some investigative reporting. there's recently become a trend in the D-League just too difficult to ignore: Twitter. Twitter is an epidemic sweeping the nation, so I'm told, and recently it's even baited a bevy of D-League players into its seductive trap.

The NBA has awarded the Blazers a hardship exception, giving them the option of signing a 16th player to the roster for a short-term basis. Teams are eligible for the exception after four players on a roster miss at least three games and are expected to miss two additional weeks.

The Indiana Pacers waived Rod Benson, Lawrence Roberts and Demetris Nichols trimming their roster to 15 players as the team prepares for the start of the NBA season next week.

Not sure how far to read into this, but either Rod Benson was released or Indiana is now letting one of their most marketable players be seen in public.
