Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported yesterday that the head coach of the Idaho Stampede, Bryan Gates, "is expected to be a strong candidate for a spot on the staff." I don't know how much to read into this quite yet, but I do know that Gates and new Kings coach Paul Westphal share the same agent, along with another rumored assistant candidate, Mario Elie.
