Patrick Spurgin, the Nets' 27-year-old video coordinator, has a new title: Player Development Coach. He becomes one of the NBA's youngest assistants.

Lawrence: Barrise Out as Assistant

Tom Barrise, the Nets longest serving assistant coach, is out, reports Mitch Lawrence in the Daily News. "The Nets informed Tom Barrise that he's out of a job after 17 years with the club and the last eight as an assistant coach," writes Lawrence. "He'll be a valuable addition for some NBA team." Barrise has been an assistant coach for the past eight years.

T-Will Gets Second Triple-Double

Terrence Williams is proving he's too good for the D-League. For the second straight game, T-Will finished with a triple-double. While his first T-D was heaving on assists and rebounds, his second was dominated by his scoring. He finished with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. He shot 12-22, including 4-5 from three.
