Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bulls exercised their club options for the 2010-11 season for both guard Derrick Rose and forward Joakim Noah on Monday.
Rose, the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft out of Memphis, averaged 16.8 points, 6.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds last season en route to winning the Rookie of the Year Award.
The Chicago native, who shot 47.5 percent from the field last year, figures to take on a larger scoring role this season following the departure of Ben Gordon.
Noah, the ninth overall selection in the 2007 draft, increased his overall production in his second season with Chicago, putting up 6.7 points and 7.6 rebounds in 80 games in 2008-09.
