Pacers sign Hansbrough

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - The Indiana Pacers have signed their No. 1 draft pick, forward Tyler Hansbrough, to a multi-year contract.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hansbrough, taken 13th overall in the NBA Draft in June, left the University of North Carolina as the ACC's all-time leading scorer with 2,872 points. He also grabbed a school-record 1,219 rebounds in his four years with the Tar Heels, and helped them win the NCAA Tournament in April.
Hansbrough is currently playing with the Pacers' summer league team.
