Recap: LA Clippers vs. New Orleans

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Al Thornton scored 20 points to lead the Los Angeles Clippers in a 91-88 victory over the New Orleans Hornets in the final preseason game for both clubs.

DeAndre Jordan added 16 points and nine rebounds for the Clippers, who open the regular season on Tuesday in an away game against the Lakers. Craig Smith and Rasual Butler scored 11 and 10, respectively.

Peja Stojakovic scored 19 points for the Hornets, who open the regular season on Wednesday at San Antonio. David West gave 18 points and seven boards, while Hilton Armstrong had 13 and seven.
