Suns sign first-round pick Clark

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns have signed 2009 first-round selection Earl Clark, the team announced Friday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Clark, the 14th overall pick in this year's draft, played with the University of Louisville for three seasons. He averaged 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds -- both team highs -- in 2008-09, helping the Cardinals to their first Big East Tournament title and the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

In 104 career games with Louisville, the 6-foot-9, 225-pound guard/forward averaged 10.6 points and 7.0 rebounds.
