Recap: Indiana vs. San Antonio

Bloomington, IN (Sports Network) - Danny Granger turned in a huge game, totaling 29 points, 14 rebounds and six assists, as the Indiana Pacers edged the San Antonio Spurs, 114-112, in the final preseason contest for both teams.

Brandon Rush and Roy Hibbert went for 17 and 16 points, respectively, for Indiana, which opens the regular season at Atlanta on October 28. The Pacers finished last year at 36-46 and missed out on the postseason.

George Hill had a team-high 21 points off the bench for the Spurs, who host New Orleans in their regular-season opener on October 28. Tim Duncan added a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. San Antonio finished 2008 with a 54-28 record, good for the top spot in the Western Conference's Southwest Division, but lost to Dallas in the first round of the playoffs.

The Pacers ended the preseason with a 3-4 mark, while the Spurs finished with a 4-3 record.
