NCAA Basketball Rankings: Duke Tops First In-Season AP Top 25 Poll

In a week where none of the top guns in college basketball suffered a loss, we couldn't have expected much movement in the NCAA basketball rankings. Indeed, little movement happened in the AP top 25 poll. Duke remains on top, and save for a few one-spot switches, the rest of the rankings remain the same.

The Blue Devils are still first, followed by Michigan State, Kansas State, Ohio State and Pittsburgh. The only movement happened at the following spots:

  • Gonzaga and Kentucky have switched spots. Gonzaga is now No. 11, while Kentucky is No. 12.
  • Baylor and Butler have switched spots. Butler is now No. 16, while Baylor is No. 17.
  • Temple and Virginia Tech have switched spots. Temple is now No. 21, while the Hokies are now No. 22.
  • Tennessee and BYU have switched spots, with BYU moving up to No. 23 and Tennessee moving down to No. 24 after a 79-64 exhibition loss to Division II Indianapolis.
