Nine minutes into tonight’s CBE Classic final, Duke and Kansas State are locked in a tight battle. The Blue Devils lead the Wildcats, 16-13. None of the Kansas State starting five are on the scoreboard, with all 13 WIldcat points coming from the bench thus far. In fact, the Wildcat starters are completely non-existent, pulling down three rebounds as a whole, but also adding three turnovers. Not the kind of start Wildcats’ fans want to see.
Duke is led by Nolan Smith’s seven early points leads the Blue Devils. Seth Curry added four points off the bench. Curry was also active on defense, grabbing two steals to lead the Duke defensive charge. Ryan Kelly added two early rebounds.
If you’re not watching, tune in. Duke and Kansas State are putting on a show in the CBE Classic.
