VIDEO: Georgetown's Chris Wright Hits Last-Second Three To Force OT Against Mizzou

The Georgetown Hoyas are one of the nation's best distributing teams, ranked eighth nationally in assists, and the final scoring play in regulation last night against the Missouri Tigers showed off their excellent ball movement. The video:

Sure it helps that the Hoyas are also one of the nation's best shooting teams, but that's a lot of court awareness for 13 seconds of frenzied basketball.

First, Hollis Thompson grabs Michael Dixon, Jr.'s missed free throw and fires it out to Chris Wright, who advances and returns to Thompson. In transition Mizzou failed to keep a body on Thompson, a 40 percent three-point shooter, but Thompson misses long. Tiger Kim English tries to fire the rebound out of bounds off Henry Sims' foot, but Jason Clark comes up with the ball and gets it back out to Wright. Swish.

Georgetown went on to win 111-102 in overtime, with Wright's 10 assists his second-highest total of the year.
