At the top, the new USA TODAY/ESPN Top 25 coaches poll differs little from the AP Top 25 poll: Duke is still No. 1, unanimously, and the rest of the top-ten is uniform with the AP, too. There are a few key differences in the coaches poll, though.
With the inclusion of Wisconsin at No. 24, the Big Ten has six top 25 teams ranked in either poll, because Baylor managed to hang on in the coaches poll, the Big 12 has six teams as well. The Big East claims seven teams after Louisville jumps back in this week, the SEC just two, and still, somewhat astonishingly, Duke remains the only ACC team ranked in either poll this year. As this is the final poll before the conference season begins, it will be difficult for ACC or SEC teams to get too many more top 25 wins under their belt before March.
