The Badgers could not make the hail Mary shot, and Michigan State eked by with a victory.

He even contributed a steal and a block, with just 2 turnovers. Kalin Lucas, who put the game out of reach for the Badgers, finished with 17 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. For the Wisconsin Badgers, Jordan Taylor led the scorers with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
By the time the game ended, the shooting percentages evened out to 39.2% for both teams. The Spartans pulled ahead in the rebound race, finishing with 34 boards, 12 of which were offensive rebounds.
