Seton Hall Vs. Syracuse Score: Pirates Stunning Orange With Stellar Shooting

Seton Hall is surprising everyone, including the Syracuse Orange, with their stellar shooting and major rebounding. Four out of the five Pirates starters have scored in double digits, led by guard Jeremy Hazell. He has also outrebounded his teammates. Seton Hall has been winning the battle of the boards thus far, hitting the defensive glass hard.

Their shooting percentage is what’s really impressive. They’re hovering just above 50% of both overall and three-point shooting. The Orange, however, are shooting below 35% and can’t seem to hit a three to save their collective lives. Scoop Jardine and Rick Jackson are the only two members of Syracuse’s squad in double digits, and Jackson is also leading his team in rebounds.

Both teams are racking up the turnovers, so ball handling is obviously a problem up to this point, but unless Syracuse can start making their shots, this game is probably over for them.
