Carlton Guyton scored 17 points and dished out four assists leading Kent State to a big early season win in Morgantown, W. Va., against West Virginia, 70-60 in the College Basketball Tip-Off Marathon.
Kevin Jones and the Mountaineers dominated the glass and led by five at the half, but the Golden Flashes held West Virginia to 36.8 percent shooting (and a woeful 2-for-12 from three-point range) and ran away in the second half. Jones finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Fun Fact: With West Virginia's loss, only the Big 12, ACC, and Mountain West remain undefeated as a conference (via CBSSports.com's Jameson Fleming).
Play of the Game: Hooray for dunks!
