J'Covan Brown totaled a game-high 33 points as Texas downed Rhode Island, 100-90, at Frank Erwin Center.
Myck Kabongo scored 20, while both Julien Lewis and Jonathan Holmes poured in 11 points for the Longhorns (2-0), who travel to Oregon State on Saturday.
Jamal Wilson totaled 24 points for the Rams (0-2), who look to get on the winning side of the ledger at Nebraska on Sunday. Nikola Malesevic added 22 points in a losing cause.

Was actually good, clean family fun for about 10 minutes, but all Texas outside of that. Still, up-and-down with a lot of scoring warrants at least a cinco.
