Ohio State's Jared Sullinger will miss Saturday's game against Kansas.
Ohio State takes on Kansas in Lawrence on this Saturday, and the Buckeyes will be the first road team favored at Allen Fieldhouse this century. But Ohio State will have to make do without their dominant center, Jared Sullinger, who will miss the game with back spasms.
CBS Sports' Jeff Goodman confirms that Sullinger will be out, following a tweet from former Ohio State player Mark Titus that broke the news. Without Sullinger, who averages nearly 20 points per game and snags just over 10 rebounds per contest to go with it, Ohio State may be hard-pressed to match up with Thomas Robinson, Kansas' physical inside presence; the Buckeyes should lean on Deshaun Thomas and possibly freshman Amir Williams to make up for Sullinger's absence.
Tipoff time for Ohio State-Kansas is 3:15 p.m. Eastern, and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
