Georgetown Vs. UConn Score: Hoyas Winning Streak At Risk In Close Big East Battle

The Georgetown Hoyas hold a 37-36 lead over the Connecticut Huskies at halftime in a game that could break Georgetown’s winning streak or stabilize a rocky late-season UConn run.

Both teams are shooting well, with UConn hitting just over 50 percent of their shots and Georgetown hitting about 47 percent. The Hoyas have found a way to take more shots, so there’s the difference.

Georgetown’s Jason Clark leads all scorers with 11, followed by UConn’s Kemba Walker, who has 10. Walker also has six dimes, three rebounds, a steal, and a block in a busy evening. Huskies big man Alex Oriakhi has hit all four of his attempts and leads UConn in rebounds. Nate Lubick is Georgetown’s highest rebounder, also with four.
