Villanova Vs. Notre Dame Final Score: Tim Abromaitis, Ben Hansbrough Celebrate Senior Night With 93-72 Win

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish decided to welcome the Villanova Wildcats for their Senior Night, and a pair of seniors made that look like a pretty good idea. Tim Abromaitis turned in 30 points, four assists, and four rebounds, while Ben Hansbrough went nuts for 30 points, 10 assists, and five steals.

They both have bro in their last names, too.

The Irish dominated from start to finish, scoring almost as many points in the second as they did in their overwhelming first half effort. Nova stepped up their shooting throughout the night, and Corey Fisher and Maalik Wayns finished with decent nights other than on defense, but this game was never in doubt.

Nova’s lost three straight, and will be expected to make it four on the road against Pitt. The Irish, meanwhile, get to continue their case for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament against UConn.
