Big 12 Basketball Tournament 2011 Bracket Update: Texas Pummels Oklahoma Again

The Texas Longhorns have completed a three-game sweep of their Red River rivals, beating Oklahoma 74-54. Jordan Hamilton was exceptional, contributing 22 points and 10 rebounds in the winning effort. Tristan Thompson also kicked in a double-double, and J'Covan Brown scored in double digits for the Horns.

For their troubles, Texas will get the winner of Thursday night's game between Texas A&M and Missouri. The Longhorns are 3-0 against this duo, having rocked A&M both in Austin and College Station and jolted Mizzou at home. So, you know, whatever.

Is the Big 12 Tournament setting up as a collision course between Texas and Kansas? Though the Jayhawks barely escaped Oklahoma State today, conference higher-ups would certainly be pleased with that matchup.
