Big 12 Tournament 2011 Bracket Update: Texas A&M Stomps Missouri To Advance To The Semifinals

The Texas A&M Aggies are moving on in the Big 12 Tournament after an easy, 86-71 win over Missouri on Thursday night. The Aggies were in control the whole way, taking a 13-point lead into the half and coasting in the second half with the game well in hand. Texas A&M heads to the semifinals on Friday while Missouri heads home with the loss.

B.J. Holmes and David Loubeau each scored a team-high 20 points for the Aggies in the win. Nathan Walkup added 16 points to round out the Aggies' three-headed attack. Kourtney Roberson had a team-high eight rebounds off the bench.

Marcus Denmon scored a game-high 22 points for the Tigers in the loss. Laurence Bowers added 13 points and Kim English chipped in 12. Phil Pressey scored nine points and had a team-high six assists off the bench , as well. Bowers finished with a team-high six rebounds.

The Aggies move on to face in-state rival Texas in the second semifinal on Friday. The Aggies and Longhorns do battle at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN3.
