The first round of the 2011 Big Ten Tournament is over, with five more teams joining the fray in Friday's portion of the bracket. The top-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes highlight a group that includes Purdue, the second seed, and Wisconsin, No. 3 in the Big Ten.
On Thursday, the tournament went as expected, with the higher seeds sweeping the three first round matchups. Northwestern breezed to a 10-point win over Minnesota to start the action off, followed by a five-point Michigan State win over Iowa. Penn State capped the first day with a six-point win over Indiana.
On Friday, it's a quadruple-header in the Big Ten Tournament, beginning with Ohio State and Northwestern at noon. Three of the four games are on ESPN2, with the Big Ten Network handling the broadcasting duties for the Michigan-Illinois game.

Championship game: Sunday, March 13
