Washington survived Klay Thompson's Pac-10 Tournament record performance on Thursday night to advance to the semifinals, where the Huskies will face Oregon on Friday night. The Ducks stunned the UCLA Bruins in the quarterfinals, pulling off the upset in a 76-59 win. The semifinal portion of the bracket is set after a long day of Pac-10 hoops with only one upset to speak of.
USC opened the day against Cal, running away with the game using a strong second half push. The Bears were no match for the Trojans in the second half as they were unable to find an answer for the USC defense. The Trojans move on to face Arizona, who survived a pesky Oregon State team in the second game of the day. Pac-10 Player of the Year Derrick Williams showed why he took home the conference's top honors, carrying the team to the nine-point win.
The semifinals get underway on Friday at 9 p.m. from Staples Center in Los Angeles. Check out the full Pac-10 Tournament bracket and schedule below.
