No. 1 Ohio State was tested more than expected vs. Northwestern on Friday, but the Buckeyes survived the scare and won in overtime to advance to the semifinals. Jared Sullinger led the way for the Buckeyes with 22 points, including 16-18 from the free throw line.
For Northwestern, John Shurna led the way with 23 points, and Michael Thompson added 15, but it wasn't enough to help the Wildcats overcome a deeper, more talented team. Ohio State will play the winner of Illinois and Michigan in the semifinals on Saturday.
If Friday's first game was any indication, the rest of the action should be worth watching, particularly between Michigan and Illinois, two teams that still have plenty to play for. Here's a look at the updated bracket and schedule here.
