On Friday, No. 15 Kentucky managed to outlast a hard-nosed Mississippi team with a 75-66 win in the SEC Tournament. The win over Ole Miss in the quarterfinals puts the Wildcats in a semifinal round of the bracket on Saturday.
Freshman guard Doron Lamb led Kentucky with 19 points. Josh Harrellson, Terrence Jones, and Darius Miller helped UK win the rebound battle with seven apiece.
On the Rebels' side of the ball, Chris Warren led with 20 points, though he was only 5-for-20 from the field. Mississippi managed to hack the Wildcats' deficit to only three late in the second half before Doron Lamb and company managed to slip away.
