No. 12 Florida pulled away from Tennessee in the second half to defeat the Volunteers for the third time, 85-74, and advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals. Tennessee had moments where they played well, but the Gators seemingly couldn't miss, scoring 56 points in the second half to get the win.

The Volunteers had the lead midway through the second half, but Florida slowly pulled away, eventually taking a 13-point lead with 4:32 remaining. Tennessee never got closer than nine points the rest of the way.

Kenny Boynton led the Gators with 22 points, as Florida shot 59 percent from the field in the win. Tobias Harris had 25 to lead all scorers for the Volunteers.

Florida now moves on to face the winner of Friday night's quarterfinal between Vanderbilt and LSU. Tennessee drops to 19-14 and now has to sweat the NCAA Tournament bubble.
