Big Ten Tournament 2011 Bracket Update: Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State Advance To Final

On Saturday, the Big Ten basketball tournament advances to the semifinal round. Michigan State and Penn State meet, while Ohio State defends its title against Michigan.

The Buckeyes and Wolverines tip off at 1:40 p.m. Eastern. Michigan enters the game as a huge underdog against Ohio State, the top-ranked team in the nation.

And at 4:05 p.m., Michigan State and Penn State fight for a spot in the conference final. The Spartans are coming off a huge win on Friday night, as they upset No. 9 Purdue by an 18-point margin.

Here is how the bracket looks entering Saturday's semifinals:

Quarterfinals: Friday, March 11

No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes defeats Northwestern, 67-61 (OT)

No. 4 Michigan Wolverines defeats No. 5 Illinois Fighting Illini, 60-55

No. 2 Purdue Boilermakers defeats Michigan State, 74-56

Penn State defeats Wisconsin 36-33

Semifinals: Saturday, March 12

Ohio State vs. Michigan, 1:40 p.m., CBS

Michigan State vs. Penn State, 25 minutes after first semifinal, CBS

Championship game: Sunday, March 13

Semifinals winners, 9, ESPN
