On Saturday night, Kansas has blown past Texas in the first half of the Big 12 championship game. The Jayhawks led at halftime, 48-33.
They're led by Tyshawn Taylor, who has made some impressive inside penetrations to score 13 points. Markieff Morris is well on his way to a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds.
On the Longhorns' side of the ball, Jordan Hamilton has scored ten points, but Texas has been unable to slow down the Jayhawks' shooting. Kansas shot 58.8 percent in the first half, and the rebound game (22 to 12) is pretty firmly in Kansas' favor as well.
