Trevor Releford scored 22 points to lead the Alabama Crimson Tide to a 79-64 victory over the Miami Hurricanes in the quarterfinal round of the 2011 NIT Bracket at Coleman Coliseum on Wednesday night.
Senario Hillman added 17 points for Alabama (24-11), which will now take on Colorado in the semifinals at Madison Square Garden next Tuesday. Tony Mitchell posted 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Crimson Tide, while JaMychal Green tallied 14 points.
Durand Scott registered 19 points for Miami-Florida (21-15), while Reggie Johnson and DeQuan Jones finished with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
