If ESPN's Pat Forde is to be believed (and why would he make things up), the crowd isn't looking that great ahead of the 2011 NCAA Championship game between UConn and Butler. We should be able to tell for sure whether or not there's actually low attendance when the game starts, but for now, we'll just have to take Pat's word at face value. Here's the tweet he sent out about 30 minutes before tipoff.
BTW, a TON of empty seats less than 30 minutes to tipoff.less than a minute ago via web

After their disappointing loss Saturday, much of Kentucky Wildcats nation went home early. Their fans are everywhere and they bring a big crowd wherever they go, so it's not shocking that when they skipped town, they left some big holes in the stadium.
