UCLA Basketball Fans Earn Support From Former Players In Pauley Seating Controversy

UCLA Bruins fans are all worked up about a proposed Pauley Pavilion rearrangement that would consolidate student seating behind one basket. Bruins Nation has been all over the story, starting up various #strat campaigns and petitions and so forth. Their efforts might actually be working, as they've picked up support from a pair of prominent former John Wooden players, with one writing to personally thank BN:

Thanks for putting yourself out there and making this an issue. If Coach Wooden were still alive, I cannot imagine he would have endorsed this new plan.  The lack of crowd noise from the old, rich alums who will be in those seats will turn Pauley into a mausoleum.  I have decided not to renew my season basketball tickets because of this decision.

Good luck.  Hopefully you will get them to listen.
