Rotnei Clarke Visiting Butler Basketball, Possibly Virginia And Oklahoma Too

Departing Arkansas Razorbacks scorer Rotnei Clarke has begun constructing a list of potential transfer destinations, starting with a visit "later this week" to see the Butler Bulldogsas he told CBS Sports' Jeff Goodman. Clarke also lists the Virginia Cavaliers and Oklahoma Sooners as possible landing spots -- Clarke is originally from Oklahoma.

Wherever he ends up, Clarke's new coaching staff will have to hope he's happier than he was throughout his career at Arkansas. Even before Mike Anderson took over in Fayetteville/Little Rock/whichever other cities Hogs athletics claims, Clarke had been displeased enough to ask for a release after his sophomore year. He also asked again after his junior year before John Pelphrey was fired.

One school we may be able to scratch off his list: Clarke told Goodman he has no plans to visit the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
