Jacob Pullen Signs With Italian League's Pallacanestro Biella Team

Former Kansas State guard Jacob Pullen, who went undrafted in the recent 2011 NBA Draft, has signed a contract to play for Pallacanestro Biella of the Italian League.

With no end in sight for the NBA lockout, undrafted free agents are beginning to look to Europe for opportunities, and there is little surprise in seeing Pullen jump on this one.

Pullen is Kansas State's all-time leading scorer with 2,132 points, good for fourth-best in Big 12 history. He averaged 20.2 points last season while leading the Wildcats to the NCAA tournament for the third time in four years.

Pallacanestro Biella posted an 11-19 record in Series A last season. In seven years, the team has made the playoffs three times. Pullen won't be the only American on the roster, which already includes former Houston player Aubrey Coleman, Louisville's Edgar Sosa, Samford's Marc Salyers (Samford) and Western Kentucky's A.J. Slaughter.
