College basketball's version of ESPN College GameDay is back, and could be coming to a school near you. The network officially announced the eight-game schedule for its flagship college basketball program late Thursday afternoon.
Heading into its eighth season, College GameDay traditionally hosts some of the biggest games of the NCAA men's basketball season, traveling to universities and documenting all of the game day festivities. Host Rece Davis leads the panel, alongside analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps, Hubert Davis, and Bob Knight.
The show tips-off in Tallahassee, as the Florida State Seminoles host the North Carolina Tarheels on January 14th. The College GameDay set will also visit Pittsburgh, Arizona, and Connecticut, among others throughout the year.
Director of ESPN programming and acquisitions, Nick Dawson, believes the program created the most compelling schedule possible.
This GameDay/Saturday Primetime schedule reflects our desire to offer viewers both the best possible conference matchups that hopefully have title implications, and the most exciting venues with the most passionate fans from which to televise GameDay.
