North Carolina is far from the only highly-ranked college basketball team to travel to Tallahassee and struggle against the Seminoles in recent years. But few have had more problems than the Tar Heels have had on this Saturday: No. 3 North Carolina trails Florida State 65-36 with under 12 minutes left in the second half.
The Seminoles have gotten a huge performance from sharpshooter Deividas Dulkys in this game. Dulkys is 10-for-12 on the day, and six of eight from three-point range, for 26 points.
And if anything could possibly go wrong for the Tar Heels on this day, it has. North Carolina has 18 turnovers midway through the second half, and is shooting under 40 percent from the field. And the Tar Heels can't do much on defense, either: a Dulkys three capped a 22-4 run to open the second half stretched FSU's lead to 26 points shortly before the under-12 timeout.
