The Baylor Bears and Missouri Tigers will tip-off in a Big 12 clash on Saturday afternoon as the two teams meet in a nationally televised game on ESPN. Perry Jones III and Marcus Denmon are both capable of putting on a show for those watching at home.
The Baylor Bears suffered their first loss of the season earlier this week when they fell at Phog Allen against the Kanasas Jayhawks. Perry Jones III and Co. will look to avenge that loss on Saturday afternoon, though, as they face off against a fellow top-five ranked team in the Missouri Tigers at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN in a game set to determine the top of the Big 12 standings.
The Bears entered this week ranked third in the nation, but that ranking could slip quite a bit if they suffer back-to-back losses after winning the first 17 games of the season. The odds are probably in favor f Baylor getting back on the winning track, however, as they're playing at home in Waco with a talented team that includes Jones, Quincy Acy, Pierre Jackson and Quincy Miller.
Mizzou hasn't been quite as lauded this season, but there's little doubt that the team led by Marcus Denmon and Kim English has what it takes to standout in the Big 12. The Tigers enter with the same 17-1 record as Baylor, but they've rebounded with three 10-plus point victories since dropping their lone game of the season to the Kansas State Wildcats earlier this month.
