Murray State stayed unbeaten with an 82-65 win over SIU-Edwardsville.

Murray State took the court against SIU-Edwardsville on Saturday night as America's only unbeaten team. The Racers left it without a loss, too, thumping the Cougars by a 82-65 count.

Four players scored in double figures for Murray State, led by Isaiah Canaan, who had 21 points to lead all scorers. Jewuan Long had 17 points for the Racers, who held a 49-35 lead at halftime.

The Cougars actually outrebounded Murray State, but got very little scoring beyond its starting five: Mark Yelovich had 17 points, Kris Davis scored 15, and Derian Shaffer had 12 points, but SIU-Edwardsville's bench produced just six points, despite 14 different Cougars seeing the floor at some point during the game.

After previously unbeaten Baylor and Syracuse both suffered their first losses of the 2011-12 season this week, Murray State becomes the only unbeaten team in Division I.
