Jan 23, 2012 - Kentucky, the only team ranked in the top four not to lose last week, is back at No. 1 in both major sets of college basketball rankings.
The Wildcats earned all 31 first-place votes in the coaches' poll, and were No. 1 on 61 of the 65 ballots cast by the Associated Press. UK was No. 1 in both polls for two weeks in December before being upset by Indiana.
Missouri, which received two first-place votes in the AP rankings, jumped from fifth to second in both polls. Previous No. 1 Syracuse slipped to third in the AP - where it also received the other two first-place votes - and fourth in the coaches' poll.
Murray State, the lone remaining unbeaten in Division-I, moved up to No. 9 in the coaches' poll and No. 11 in the AP rankings.
