Wisconsin defended its home court and pulled out a 57-50 victory in the late stages against Indiana.
No. 25 Wisconsin rallied in the second half for a 57-50 victory over Indiana at home in the Kohl Center on Thursday night.
The Badgers trailed at halftime and at 46-45 with a little more than five minutes left, and held just a 51-50 lead with 1:04 left, but clamped down on the Hoosiers in the dying throes of the game, and made six free throws in the last two minutes of the contest. Ben Brust came off the bench to lead Wisconsin with 13 points, and Ryan Evans, Jordan Taylor, and Mike Bruesewitz added 12, 10, and 10 points, respectively.
Indiana got 12 points each from Christian Watford and Verdell Jones III, but Wisconsin did a number on fantastic freshman Cody Zeller, limiting him to seven points and three rebounds. The Hoosiers had 10 turnovers to just four assists.
