The No. 2 Missouri Tigers rolled over the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday, never trailing at any point for a 63-60 win at home. The Tigers shot just 38.8 percent for the game, but Texas Tech committed 21 turnovers to seal their fate.
Kim English led the way with 22 points for the Tigers coming off the bench. He made up for a mediocre performance from Missouri's leading scorer Marcus Denmon, who went just 4-for-15 shooting from the floor, including 1-for-6 from beyond the arc. He went 10-for-10 on free throws to give him 19 points for the game.
The up-tempo Tigers also had 13 steals on Saturday to just three for the Red Raiders, more than making up for a 29-22 rebound disadvantage. Ty Nurse led Texas Tech with 13 points with Jaye Crockett adding 11 in addition to his 12 rebounds.
