No. 11 Murray State remained the only unbeaten team in Division I with a 73-58 win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday.

Isaiah Canaan and Donte Poole scored 18 points apiece and No. 11 Murray State remained the only unbeaten team in Division I with a 73-58 win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday.

The Racers (21-0, 9-0 Ohio Valley) extended the best start in program history with another double-digit win. The margin of victory was just more than their average of 14.5 points entering the game.

Joey Miller had 17 points to lead Eastern Illinois (9-11, 2-6) while Alfonzo McKinnie scored 13.

The Panthers have lost five games in a row since beating Tennessee-Martin on January 12th and fell to 0-17 all-time against ranked teams, including 0-14 on the road.

Murray State pushed its lead to 35-10 in the all-time series, which includes a 73-40 win on December 30.

The Racers now move on to play the SE Missouri St. Indians on Thursday.
