No. 11 UNLV vs. Colorado State: Rebels Pick Up 21st Win Of Season

The UNLV Rebels defeated the Colorado State Rams on Wednesday, 82-63.

Feb 2, 2012 - The Colorado St. Rams were unable to make it two upset victories in a row on Wednesday night. Just days after defeating the San Diego St. Aztecs, the Rams fell to the UNLV Rebels in an 82-63 decision.

The Rebels entered the game having survived an overtime victory over the Air Force Falcons on Saturday. This game, as the score indicates, wasn't that close. Four of the team's starters scored at least 13 points: Chace Stanback and Oscar Bellfield led the way with 16 points; Mike Moser and Anthony Marshall each chipped in 13. Moser pulled down eight rebounds while Marshall dished the ball out for seven assists.

Colorado State didn't have much going on outside a trio of players. Wes Eikmeier led the team with 18 points while Dorian Green added 15 and Greg Smith put in 13.

The Rebels (21-3, 5-1 Mountain West) visit the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday.
