Missouri Vs. Kansas: Thomas Robinson's Block Sends Rivalry Into Overtime

Stay connected with SB Nation

If this is how the storied 105-year rivalry between the Missouri Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks will come to an end for the foreseeable future, so be it. The two teams have played an entire regulation game and have decided they're not done yet as the game heads to overtime.

Thomas Robinson has been a force for the Jayhawks, scoring 27 points, grabbing nine rebounds and converting a critical lay-in, drawing the foul and making the free throw to tie the game at 75.

With seconds remaining, Missouri had an open look to the hoop for two critical points but it was Robinson again, serving up a monster block and icing the tied game as the clock expired.

Tyshawn Taylor has 20 for the Jayhawks as well.

Marcus Denmon leads the Tigers with 23 points and Ricardo Ratcliffe is having a huge game with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
