TCU upset New Mexico on Saturday, turning the Mountain West standings into a mess.
It seems as if no one really wants to win the Mountain West Conference. Though it could be a testament to the strength of the league, no team has less than four losses, thanks to the New Mexico Lobos' loss to the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday night. New Mexico was poor shooting the ball, while TCU was great behind the arc in its 83-64 win.
The two teams went into halftime tied 38-38, but the Lobos struggled offensively in the second half, scoring just 26 points. TCU was 11-26 from three-point land, giving them a better shooting percentage from distance than New Mexico had overall.
This is the second consecutive loss for UNM, who is now tied with UNLV atop the conference. San Diego State is a half-game back and can make it a four-way tie for first by winning its next game.
