Ohio Valley Tournament 2012: Bracket, Schedule, TV Coverage And More

Murray State is heavily favored to win the Ohio Valley Conference's automatic NCAA Tournament bid

In a rare development, there is a team in the Ohio Valley Conference that will be heading to the NCAA Tournament with or without a conference tournament win. All of the teams on the bubble for a bid will be hoping and praying that heavily favored Murray State is able to come away with the title. They get some help from the tournament's structure, which gives them a bye until the semifinals. The tournament starts on Wednesday and will be played at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.

First Round - Wednesday, Feb. 29 (All times ET, OVCSports.tv)

No. 5 Southeast Missouri vs. No. 8 Eastern Kentucky - 6 p.m
No. 6 Austin Peay vs. No. 7 Jacksonville State - 8 p.m.

Quarterfinals - Thursday, March 1 (OVCSports.tv)

No. 4 Tennessee Tech vs. SE Missouri/EKU - 6 p.m.
No. 3 Morehead State vs. Austin Peay/Jacksonville St. - 8 p.m.

Semifinals - Friday, March 2 (ESPN3 and ESPNU)

No. 1 Murray State vs. QF1 Winner - 6 p.m.
No. 2 Tennessee State vs. QF2 Winner - 8 p.m.

Championship - Saturday, March 3 (ESPN2)

SF1 Winner vs. SF2 Winner - 1 p.m.
